Chaitanya Education Society in Khamgaon was founded on the ideals of selfless social service, rural upliftment, and Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy of man-making, character-building education. Guided by Sri Sadashiv Malharrao Trikal, a respected English teacher, a devoted group came together to bring value-based, accessible education to children from local and farming communities. The organisation was anchored under the guiding motto: “त्यागः सेवा च” (Renunciation and Service).

Consecration of Shri Ganapati Temple & the Divine Seed
Before laying the physical foundation stones of the educational institution, the campus was sanctified through the consecration (Prana-Pratishtha) of Lord Ganesha:
Sacred Guidance by Param Pujaniya Shri Agashe Kaka: Shri Agashe Kaka instructed the founding team to erect a dedicated Shri Ganapati Temple on the campus. He bestowed upon them a Divine Stone, guiding that it be reverently immersed and consecrated directly beneath the idol in the sanctum sanctorum—a command the founders fulfilled to the last word.
The Idol from Indore: The sacred Ganesh idol was specially brought from Indore, made possible through the invaluable cooperation and dedication of Shri Prakash Patil (Vihigaon) and Shri Gajanan Sadashiv Trikal.
Consecration by Siddha Purusha Shri Taklikar Maharaj: The Prana-Pratishtha ceremony was performed by Veda-Shastra Sampanna Shri Purushottam Siddha Maharaj Taklikar, the chief priest of the Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, Shegaon. Born on Vinayaki Chaturthi in Paush month (1935) in Dhangar Takli, Shri Taklikar Maharaj was a realized Siddha Purusha who served at the Shegaon Sansthan for 44 years and was blessed with direct communion with Shri Gajanan Maharaj. He hailed from a revered lineage: his grandfather, Shri Daji Guru Maharaj, was likewise an exalted spiritual master whose Samadhi rests on the banks of the Godavari at Dhangar Takli (20 km from Purna Junction). Consecrated by such an elevated saint, this sacred consecration planted the spiritual seed (Beejaropan) of the institution. It stands as a lasting benediction that this seed will flourish into a vast banyan tree (Vata-Vriksha), realizing the educational dreams of thousands of rural youth and transforming the entire region.
